We’re delighted to share Jenny and Paul’s sunny September wedding in St Joseph’s Church, Drumcondra with reception in Beaufield Mews, Stillorgan.
It was really lovely hanging out with Jenny and her family during her (super relaxed) morning prep in her parent’s home, particularly as we felt like old friends already, having shot her sister Kate’s Wedding only 2 months previous.
This time Jenny’s Dad’s garden was in full bloom and we got some photos of the beautiful bride amidst the colourful flowers. The first shot you’ll see below is their handmade invitations. Each and every one was hand printed by Jenny and Paul in the weeks and months leading up to the big day. So gorgeous and personal.
After a beautiful and personal ceremony we headed off to be greeted by sunshine and cocktails in Beaufield Mews, where beautiful decorations included an impressive collection of gin bottles doubling as vases. As the day was so beautiful, the party was able to stay outside for the speeches – making for relaxed, informal but still hilarious and emotional speeches.
On the day of their wedding Jenny and Paul got the call to confirm they are the proud owners of their first home together. The venue contained a miniature house in the gardens. Yes we took advantage of these colliding facts.
One last note – Jenny & Paul’s first dance was Fake Empire by The National. Such an emotional, powerful song and it just summed up the energy of the day so perfectly.
Congratulations Jenny and Paul, wishing you all the best for your marriage, your new home, and your future together. Thank you for sharing your day with us.
